IRIS - GOLD AND BLACK
This luxury furoshiki can be used to wrap a gift or used as a wall hanging.
The design is based on a 16th century dyeing technique called Maki-e where Japanese lacquer which would be sprinkled with gold or silver powder to create a decoration. The powder would be applied with a kebo brush. The technique represents a symbol of power. This design features the iris flower which represents hope, wisdom and courage.
